HVAC Restoration Kit

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The duct and blend door seals in the FD’s HVAC system fail and deteriorate with age which causes them to blow foam pieces out of the vents and fall apart with regular use or upon disturbance. Mazda used a biodegradable polyester open cell foam in the duct systems which has not withstood the test of time over the past 3 decades. Our HVAC Restoration kit is designed to replace all the foam on the blend doors and replace the seals on the Blower, Cooling, and Heater Unit joints. Our kit replaces all of the failed components which eliminates foam particles from blowing in your face while you drive and stops air leakage in the HVAC system for tighter temperature control and increased air flow from the vents.

Consulting with our foam manufacture yielded a selection of the safest and best foam for restoring system operation. We use a UL listed closed cell foam with a working temperature range from -40F to 200F. The UL94 HF-1 listing the product carries means the foam will stop burning within 2 seconds; afterglow less than 30s; and that no burning drips are allowed. Included in the kit is precision laser cut pieces for all 8 Blend doors (front and back) and a roll of gasket tape. Everything is backed with high strength adhesive to make installation a breeze!
